Hello Folks,Thrilled to share that I have successfully completed my Corporate Venture Capital & Business Analytics Remote Externship with HP Tech Ventures and Extern! This experience has been incredibly rewarding and has helped me build invaluable skills. Talking about the most difficult task was to meet their insane criteria, which most of the startups fail to do so, and then I found the one Trestle Labs | KIBO, which was featured in Shark Tank also, so after finalizing startup, now it is the time to gather every information from every corner of internet. Every time I got to know new things about Deal Sourcing, Venture Capital Investing, Business Analytics and somehow it taught me more about Leadership, Critical thinking, Decision makingSpecial thanks to my fellow Externs and the team at HP Teach Ventures—I'm excited to apply what I’ve learned in my future career!

I am thrilled to share that I have successfully completed my Venture Capital Industry Deal Sourcing Remote Externship with RevRoad andExtern! This experience has been incredibly rewarding and has helped me build invaluable skills.For the past four weeks, I had the opportunity to delve into the intricacies of venture capital and investment analysis. I gained hands-on experience analyzing investment opportunities, including researching a Series A Edtech company, TeachFX. I evaluated its pros and cons as an investment, researched the Edtech market, and assessed its CAGR, providing a comprehensive industry analysis. My findings were presented in detailed decks and a video recording, showcasing actionable insights to drive informed decision-making.Utilizing data platforms like Crunchbase, I conducted in-depth market research, developed sharp insights into startup metrics, and mastered variable estimation techniques such as market sizing and revenue projection. Whatever the world might be saying on tech layoffs, hiring freeze, hard times for graduates to graduate or VC bubble burst- there’s always a way to kickstart your career! VC role used to be once a highly coveted role and usually held by those with Investment experience, mbas etc etc. but as we see this industry mature and more money ploughing in-it creates opportunities for people from non finance or non tech backgrounds.
